Jane Austen: A Legend of Books in the UK

Many of the youngsters joined the course of English literature due to this amazing writer of books in the UK, named as Jane Austen. Jane was an English novelist born in 1775. She was famous for her work in six novels which included critique, interpretation, and comment on the British community at the end of the 18th century. Being a woman, Austen used to understand the flaws of society towards women and tried to depict the story in her novels. Most of her work revolved around the topic where women are dependent on their marriages in order to find a favourable social standing as well as financial security.
If I am not wrong then as per the recent news, “The Royal Mint, in a New Year’s statement, announced that Austen has been chosen as the new image for its commemorative £2 coins. At about the same time, the Bank of England is expected to release its new, plastic, unrippable £10 note and in the process will replace Charles Darwin with an Austen portrait. The notes are expected to be released in summer 2017.”
If you ask then the historians will not be able to recall the last time when anybody was recognized for both coin and notes together other than the reigning monarch. It is the highest paid tribute that anyone has ever received for their work in the UK, that too for their work for books in the UK. She reached the heights of the success due to some of her publications such as Pride and Prejudice (1813), Mansfield Park (1814), Emma (1815), etc.

Buy Books: To Know! To Learn! To Understand!

I have heard somewhere that, “There is no friend as loyal as a book.” And trust me I believe in the statement as well. Whenever I am bored I read!  Whenever I want to gather some information I read! Whenever I feel lonely I read! The genre of the book can be anything; either fiction or autobiography, but I always have one in my bag. When I was a kid, say 3 years old, every week my dad used to bring numerous books from the book store. Even when he knew that I just started understanding alphabets but buddy trust me those books taught me how to form sentences even the words. When I turned 5, I literally can read more than half of those books without a single error in speaking. Well, that is the importance of books in my life.
Books can teach a lot of things which we are unable to learn from our teachers, parents or society, although the craze of reading the books is reducing day by day in the young generation. This craze can be developed again if the parents try a little harder to guide their young ones about the importance of the books in one’s life. In this online era, anyone can buy books through numerous online platforms. These platforms have books of every genre, written by various well-known writers. Hence you can’t complain about the lack of time. Buddy if you don’t imbibe the love for books in your kid today then you will not be able to do it in future as well.
Many famous British as well American writers have said that your world will become million times larger if you have developed a love for books in your heart. If I talk about facts then it is a certified fact that reading books helps in developing several skills in students such as the art of communication, various phrases, improves the language, etc. It allows us to understand the perspectives of other people toward various topics, as well the importance of various cultures present in the world.
